Sima Studin - Executive Director and Club President

A former rhythmic gymnastics and a “Master of Sports" in Rhythmic Gymnastics from Ukraine, Sima holds a degree in organization and business management.  For a decade she worked as a coach and a choreographer at the Gemini Gymnastics Club in Oshawa and the Winstonettes Gymnastics Club in Markham.  When her daughters took up rhythmic gymnastics she became a “gymnastics mom”.  Combining these invaluable experiences with a desire to work with children, she decided to open a gymnastics centre in order to offer quality instructions to children of all ages and abilities.  She strongly believes that through involvement in sports kids can become confident and active adults.  

Toronto Aspirals now is the largest rhythmic gymnastic centre in the Greater Toronto area and the only one in Ontario that has its own facility.

     
 

Lidiya Yavorskaya - Competitive coach since 2005

Formerly from Kiev, Ukraine Lidiya bring in a wealth of experience and fresh ideas. A talented coach and choreographer, she worked for many years at the World's famous Derugina school, where she overlooked individual and group training of best gymnasts in the Country. She travelled the World with the Ukranian National Team and was a head team coach at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

At Toronto Aspirals Lidiya works with senior provincial competitors as well as taking care of development of younger gymnasts.

   

 

 

Elena Tupeiko - Pre and Competitive coach since 2007

A recent addition to the Aspirals coaching team, Elena has been working with young athletes for almost two decades in her native Belarus.  A former competitive gymnast at the international level, she holds a degree in physical education with a specialization in gymnastics training.   She now coaches elite kids and provincial competitive athletes at the Concord Centre. Elena is also a judge for the Toronto Aspirals.

 

     
     
 

Victoria Mironenko – Recreational and Pre-Competitive Coach since 2006

As a rhythmic gymnast, Victoria earned the very prestigious title of “Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics” in Uzbekistan. She began coaching children in 1993, eventually training the Uzbekistan Women’s Acrobatics and Tumbling National Team as they prepared for the World Championships and the Olympic Games. In 2005, she immigrated to Canada and began working at the Aspirals School of Rhythmic Gymnastics, where she coaches a variety of programs including toddlers, recreational and pre-competitive. 

     
 

Tatyana Vdovkina - Precompetitive coach & dance instructor since 2007

Tatiana has been coaching rhythmic gymnastics for over two decades. A graduate from a major university in her native Ukraine with a degree in coaching and physical education, she supervised the development of young athletes of the Olympic reserve.  An innovative and creative teacher with an eye for detail, Tatiana brings out the individual character of every gymnast in her charge. 

 

 

 

Natalia Lunova - Elite Kids and Pre competitive coach since 2007

Natalia practically grew up in the gym.  She began training in rhythmic gymnastics at an early age, and has continued her involvement in gymnastics ever since. She competed in rhythmic gymnastics until the age of 20, and completed a university degree in physical education.  For over 30 years, Natalia has been working with children of all ages. Back in Ukraine, she coached a National team, and her athletes have gone on to win national championships and receive the prestigious “Master of Sports of Rhythmic Gymnastics” titles.  Natalia works with Elite Kids and pre-competitive programs at the Concord Centre.

 

 

     
 

Varia Alexandrova Recreational coach since 2011

Daria trained in rhythmic gymnastics for 12 yrears. She competed at the National Junior Level and represented Canada at many prestigious international competitions including those in Russia, Bulgaria and Spain.

Presently a high school student, Varia continue to stay active by participating in cheerleading and soccer activities. She loves working with children to teach them her favorite sport.

     
 

Elena Portnoi - Recreational coach since 1996

A graduate from Moscow institute of Physical Culture, Helen is an excellent teacher and a wonderful, caring person who is loved and respected by her young charges and their parents alike. Besides coaching, Helen is teaching lunch time and after school gym at numerous local private schools.

Many of young girls who took first steps in rhythmic gymnastics under Helen’s guidance have become accomplished competitors. They always remember their first teacher with love and appreciation

     
 

Marina Fainshtein - Recreational Coach since 2007

Marina started gymnastics at an early age in Russia. After moving to Israel, she continued competing in artistic gymnastics and track and field. Maryna was a champion in both sports, winning numerous medals, trophies, and awards. Now, she would like the girls she coaches to excel in gymnastics as she did.

     
 

Victoria Brezgin - Gymnastics and Judo coach, Black Belt, 2nd Dan - since 2008

Victoria has been professionally involved with martial art since 1989.  A six-time National Champion and a member of the Ukrainian National team she won numerous awards at European tournaments. That includes amongst others 1st place at 1994 Sambo Team World Cup, 3rd place at 1998 Judo World Cup and 3rd place at 1998 Judo World Cup

She has been teaching judo in Ukraine, Israel and now in Canada.

Victoria is coaching co-ed classes in gymnastics/acrobatics/judo at the Concord gym.

     
 

Dalia Kagramanov - Recreational coach since 2010

Dalia was a high ranking competitive gymnast with Toronto Aspirals from 2000 to 2009. Beside gymnastics she has been playing competitive chess for many years. After retiring from competitive gymnastics she concentrated on her chess career and has achieved great results. She has represented Canada on the world stage numerous times and most recently participated in the 2010

Chess Olympiad  as a member of the National Women’s   team. Dalia is going into her first year at York University with a goal of applying to medical school in the future.  

     
 

Ilana Enoukov - Recreational coach since 2010

Ilana began her gymnastics career at Toronto Aspirals in 2000, at the age of 5. After 11 years of training, and over 6 dozen medals, she retired from competitive sport in June 2011.  After such an emotional journey, she couldn’t give up gymnastics too easily. Now entering her 3rd year in high school, she started to coach recreatioal gymnasts.

Ilana’s  hobbies include traveling, playing volleyball, and volunteering. Meanwhile, she continues her studies and plans to eventually attend a law school
     
 

Anastasia Mironenko -Recreational coach since 2010

A daughter of talented former gymnast and a high caliber coach Victoria Mironeko, Anastasia has followed in her mother’s footsteps. Since the age of six  Anastasia has been training in gymnastics and competitive Latin  dance.  She is a current  Canadian finalist in Latin division of Ballroom dancesport. Her dancing background has given her the skills to become an excellent choreographer. Anastasia works as a recreational coach and a dance instructor with gymnasts of various ages. .Beside gymnastics and dance, Anastasia loves working out, enjoys travelling and currently studies sports psychology.
